"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. And the earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep; and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters.” Gen 1:1-2 Most of us are very familiar with this opening verse of Scripture. We teach our children to quote this verse, and contrary to ever changing theories about the origin of the universe, we believe the truth of this verse with all of our hearts.
