In all things we strive to be biblically correct and to mirror the first century church.  We use these principles to establish the leadership for the North Beach congregation.  We have elders who are responsible for leading the congregation.  These men are appointed based on scripture found in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and  Titus 1:5-9.  The elders are only responsible for leading the local congregation and do not exercise oversight of any other groups.

The local evangelist works at the direction of the elders and is responsible for teaching and preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.  His efforts are focused on strengthening the Christians at North Beach as well as teaching the gospel to all who would be interested in coming to a better knowledge of God and how to be in a proper relationship with Him.”

Likewise we use scripture for selecting deacons.  The scriptures provide us with the characteristics that describe a good deacons.  Deacons are servants to the congregation and work at the direction of the elders.  1Timothy 3:8-13.
